EXPOCENTRE EMPLOYEES – VETERANS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

75 years ago our country won the historic Victory over fascist Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.

The Great Victory was forged by the courage and heroism of millions of people who stood up to defend the independence and freedom of our Homeland.

1,418 days and nights were filled with trials, deprivations and losses unprecedented in severity, which fell to the lot of ordinary men and women who worked peacefully for the prosperity of the country and were forced to take up arms to repel the barbaric Nazi aggression.

These men and women – each personally and all together – have done the impossible, stopped the invasion unprecedented in history in its murderous power, withstood a deadly battle with the appalling enemy, broke them and threw down the standards of defeated regiments to the feet of the victorious people at the Victory Parade of 1945 in Moscow.

The price that was paid for this incomparable Victory is enormous. And thus the remembrance of those who liberated their native country and Europe from fascism does not fade through the years. Shaded by the events of the past 75 years, it, contrary to all the rules of historical oblivion, becomes brighter, more contrastive, more significant. And we see and remember in a different way the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, with whom we had the opportunity to work together, to communicate closely in a friendly working atmosphere, to hear their assessments of certain events, fleeting, but very succinct remarks, based on a large and difficult life experience that they had endured.

They stay with us - our veterans, employees of EXPOCENTRE. They are an inseparable part of ourselves, an inseparable part of our team. Over the years, their contribution to the development of the Exhibition Complex and the whole exhibition industry of the country is seen as increasingly significant and weighty. It is seen as a regained foothold from which the present generations of EXPOCENTRE employees confidently master new professional directions, achieve new glorious victories worthy of our dear veterans.

EXPOCENTRE remembers its veterans and is proud of them!

A low bow to all those who fought at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War and forged the Victory in the rear!

We congratulate all shareholders and employees of EXPOCENTRE, dear exhibitors and visitors of international exhibitions, business partners, our friends in the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the World Trade Centre on the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War!

Happy Victory Day!
